I’ve used other soap, how’s yours different?
Our soap contains edible organic oils and natural colorants such as herbs. Commercial soap contains animal fat, petroleum derivatives, synthetic colorings, and chemical preservatives.

I have sensitive/dry skin, which soap can I use?

For those of you with sensitive skin, we recommend that you do try our ß-Carotene soap and Rice Bran soap. It is rich in moisture with added avocado oil. We think you'll be surprised at how mild our handmade soap really is.

Doesn’t the sodium hydroxide harm my skin?
We calculate just the right amount of sodium hydroxide needed to cause the right chemical reaction (saponification) between the ash and the vegetable oils to make the ideal soap bar that is not harsh on your skin and is full of moisturizing ingredients.

How big are the soap bars?
Because all our soaps are handcrafted from small batches and hand-cut, sizes will vary. It might not have the exact clean straight cut and unique in shape. Each soap bar should weight approximately 3.5oz or 100g.

Is your soap safe for everyone?
Organic and natural ingredients are used for our soap but those suffering from conditions like sensitive skin or allergies may be troubled by even our natural ingredients. If irritation occurs, please see your doctor immediately.

Can I use handmade soap to wash my hair?
Yes, wet your hair and rub the bar of soap across your hair a few times to lather. It rinses out and leaves your hair squeaky clean without feeling dried out.

Do you use dies to color your soap?
No, we do not use dies in the making of our soaps. We use flowers and herbs for there individual qualities and to provide texture and color.

How long do bars last?
Our soaps aren’t as long-lasting as the commercial ones. Shelf life varies according to storage and use patterns. Best used within 12 months and avoid direct sunlight to prevent oxidation. Certain fragrance oil blends are more volatile, and their scents may fade over time.
